Additionally, timeshare resorts often offer fully-equipped kitchens and on-site dining. My sister and I were easily able to cook our own meals and dine at on-site restaurants when we wanted to. If you don’t want to cook as a family, there are many resorts that are located near grocery stores, farmers’ markets, or local restaurants.

Another major perk of timeshare ownership is the flexibility it offers. It’s important to note that the timeshare concept has evolved dramatically in recent years. Contrary to popular belief, timeshare owners aren’t bound to one resort year after year. My family usually spends winter vacations at our timeshare in Tahoe but when we want to go somewhere warm we swap our reserved week for a summer stay in Arizona. Even if you don’t own a timeshare you can still enjoy the timeshare experience and book a night or weekly rate just like a vacation rental or hotel room. This flexibility opens up a world of possibilities and gives your family the chance to explore new places without the hassle of booking different hotels or vacation rentals each time.
